Important things for a blog owner

Hello Everyone,

The most important thing for a blog is regular updation. Regular updates on a site can continue to push it higher in the ranking whereas if you fail to do regular updates then your site may never reach its highest position or may not even regain its own highest position.

How many of you updates your blog daily?
How successful your blog has been?
Do you use copied content to update your blog?
Do you check the content of your blog site via proper copy checking tools?

Not sure if it's the MOST important thing, especially when compared to original, quality content... but yes, important.

Not entirely sure that's true: static sites can rank higher than regularly-updated blogs, though they need to be authorities and so on. I'd say it depends on your niche, though in most cases a regularly-updated site will do a lot better!

I don't update daily. Twice weekly works fine for me or even weekly if I'm pushed for ideas.
Original content always: copied content doesn't work and will usually get you in trouble!
No need to check, since it's all unique, but I do keep an eye out for people copying my stuff - and hit them with DMCAs.

 

Update once a week or so and only with content I write myself plus the (very) occasional guest post. I don't write for the search engines, instead concentrating on writing for my readers so it's (hopefully) entertaining, informative and they'll keep coming back.

 

Actually there is no rule for your updating schedule! Let's focus on quality content rather than the quantity!

Blog is an important tool to promote your website, and how to make it effective, that is a question. Like most of us mentioned above, there are some guides you should follow.

 

Just saw this absolute gem of an example of why spinning is a bad idea (in an article submitted to my directory): "With rabbit fur beret, the same color with cape coat, on cloak there are rows of lovely hair balls and long wool beard."

Sounds like Yoda on drugs!

 

I'd say one of the most important things is to provide unique, valuable and original content.

 

How many of you updates your blog daily? If you're only after getting a pagerank, update your blog every month or week with unique and original content.
How successful your blog has been? I've been blogging since 2009, changing from domain name to another. I believe it has hundred thousands of visitors already, just that I keep changing the subdomain/domain name.
Do you use copied content to update your blog? I curate to avoid plagiarism.
Do you check the content of your blog site via proper copy checking tools? I don't need to because I don't plagiarize. However, I Google first if the topic I will write about has high competition.

 

Blogs content and regular updates are important, no one like to read non require or copied information from some where else.
