Is placing a link near the adsense banner against TOS?

I'm not sure but I don't think so...
Are you expecting visitors to "accidentally" click the ad?

Not really, the links aren't THAT near ;) There's a good four lines separating the links from the banner.

I'm trying to draw more attention to the ads area.

No links yet, as I don't know if it's legal.

By the way, what advices do you guys give me regarding better ad placement? My website is really a weblog, I wonder if I placed the ads inside the entries...

There is no problem placing links near to ads. You might benefit from blending the ads better, experiment with making the background gray and losing the border.

Well, I changed the colors. The background and border are now the same color as the area where the ad is placed.

The thing is, when I try to save the pallet, but nothing happens :(
