I keep getting these damn e-mails from Godaddy telling me that ICANN require me to review my domain contact info etc. I've never bothered responding to them but some people say you should. Just wondered how many of you bother reviewing your domain info, and how many of you ignore it like me?

I would just update whatever that is necessary. This is a requirement under ICANN, better be safe than sorry.

Be sure to log into your Godaddy account directly by visiting godaddy.com. I never click links in emails like that, because it's hard to tell what's a phishing attempt or not.

Usually, those things are just a reminder that Godaddy sends out to let you know that your contact info has to be valid. It's good to set a universal contact/billing address by selecting all of your domains and setting the contact info...that way, you'll never have to worry about one or two domains using old information.

Remember, if you're not using the right contact info and Godaddy checks up on you by giving a phone call, you run the risk of losing your domain.

If your info is not correct and they find out, they can just take your domain and you can't stop them. What if your domain's value is $1000?...
