Important !! i have a question on Domain Name

    hi all

    i want to change my blog into [dot]com.with a different name blogminty[dot]com.

    i will redirect that domain name to my blog.Can anyone tell me the following questions.

    1.do i have to re-submit my site too Google.
    2.if someone opens my blog "with the new domain name" will my now blog name "blogminty.blogspot.com" show up in the address bar or the new name ?
    3.what about the FEED URL ???

    if any other thing you wana tell me then do it..

    i am going to buy my first domain..so i am a noob in this matter.

    hoping for some positive replies

    3. If you're using FeedBurner, it offers a 301 redirect to RSS readers so there is no need to change feed url at the most however after after 30 days you should create new feed for your blog because that changed feed will start showing 404 after 30 days.

    Inform your customers/readers about the changes.

    You need to make some changes both in Blogger and your domain registrar. I've done it 2-3 months ago. You can setup Blogger to redirect yourname.blogspot.com to www.yourname.com using the settings/publishing tab. This is a 301 redirect, so the Search engines will think that all the links are pointing to your new domain.
