    Hello Guys

I'm in this bussiness since few years already and I was wondering if you guys had some good result with the paid directory of Yahoo lately? I would like to do this for one of my website but I was wondering if I should or not because I don't want to spend 300$ and put that money in a garbage directly. Tell me your experiency about that please.

    Thank You
    Bobby

Yahoo Directory is definitely worth it for the Google link juice. Ironic, isn't it?

But of course, you need to make sure you have a product or service that is going to allow you to get the return on investment. The other thing is to make sure you get the right anchor text in the directory submission.

    Best,
    Sam

I would suggest, dont waste the money and use it to do seo and link building for your site. That will give more visibility to your sites not only in yahoo but other search engines too....

    Thanks...

I have mixed feelings about paid directories, but it all depends on the amount of traffic the directory gets.

I am thinking the same thing. I have 2 sites, that I wish ti list at yahoo directory, but not sure. Also, after paying them $300, will they approve my site or my money is gonna be wasted?

I am very confused right now

If your area of competence is very high, then authority directory like Yahoo will give additional boost.

Directory submissions are all about links. I have sites listed in Yahoo's directory, and I think its worth it even though Yahoo's directory sends no traffic. Yahoo is the most respected directory out there, and buying this permanent link will not get you penalized by Google. :)

I don't think it is worthy to buy a link in yahoo directory by paying $300. At times, they will reject the link and the money sent remains confiscated. Even if you are approved, will it translate in the form of increased traffic / product sales etc?

You won't get traffic from being listed in Yahoo directory, and at $300 you can spend that money in more useful things.

First you should have to consider whether your site is ready for visitor respect to product you want to sell.

Second, do all SEO works and start Link Building (Thematic).

Update your site content regularly and index your site in Search Engine.

And last if you not satisfy these entire factors then go for paid inclusion.

As far I know Yahoo add your site free after some interval, if you submitted your site on Yahoo.
