Happy New Everybody!! Hi, i am working for a marketing company and i have been asked to create a video tutorial for our trainning and development module. The video tutorial will be used for "new starters" so they can sit at their desk, listen and watch(although having messages pop up would be fine) to familiarise themselves on how to navigate through our MS Access database. Most of the job will require them to retrieve and input new information into our database. From senior management point of view, they do not need to sacrafice 2hrs of their work sitting down and explaining what the buttons and tabs do etc. From new starters point of view, it becomes more interactive and in a sense, fun. I already have a template database to use a research purpose, but what i would like to know is, what software/equipment do i need to make a video tutorial. See link for example; http://learnflash.com/st/st2temp.html?utm_source=auto&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=em3 Although, the above link describes a Flash tutorial, the same principles on what it trying to achieve is the same. Any experts knowing how to do this would be such a great help to me and for the company. Thanks
Agreed. Camtasia would be the tool of choice. Snag-It will give you some cool features as well. The best part is, you can try both for 30 days absolutely free. And...the cost of these products is not outrageous. Good luck.
Camtasia is not free anymore they had their version 3 free for a while but not anymore You can try the free alternative Wink http://www.debugmode.com/wink/
Camtasia is great. I use it for a lot of my projects... or just to send a quick video to someone who is working for me to show them how to do something. A lot quicker than trying to talk them through it on the phone.
