CB have changed their order page without even telling their affiliates! (yes I am on their list).

If any of you have graphics on your sales page, you need to change them now.
EDIT: I jumped the gun a little, hold steady on any changes, see below.

    Dammit Clickbank!!

I've since heard that not all are affected.

Either they're doing split testing or they're rolling it out gradually.

Either way, all of mine have changed already.

    More info here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-in...sion-forum/86106-clickbank-dont-screw-up.html

I wonder if they are split testing or discriminating based on IP address. Can you please check the order form on one of my sites e.g. http://www.endyourtinnitus.com

I'd like to know if you when you click the order button you get the BLUE or the BROWN page. Edit: I've just checked your Easy Backup Wizard page and I get a brown order form. Perhaps this is being done by region or IP, I am in the UK.

I've also logged a ticket at Clickbank.

    Thanks

Thanks Robert, seems they must be testing a minority of prospects. Well at least this shock has meant I am fully prepared for the changeover if/when it happens.

Here's an example of the page:

I'm noticing it on mine as well - Jeez that's hideous. I hope it converts well.

Freaking retards, why do they to mess about with such minor things, instead of spending time on something more useful.

Who ****king cares what color is the payment page? It needs to process the cards, which it doesn't, and they are trying to fix that with changing the blue color to red/brown?

    NICE!

Come on, a small color change of the theme is not going to screw up the conversion or anything... You guys are making a deal of totally unimportant things. Although i have to agree with bl4ckmaN. Do they have too much time on their hands or what? They should be working their a$$es off to get the CC order problems fixed and not play around with colors!

We all know how important split testing is. You never know, a change in the order form might triple conversions across the board, which means more money for all of us. Controlled split testing is brilliant, and the fact they're investing time and effort into doing it should be welcomed by affiliates and vendors alike.

But of course, they should also be (and I'm sure they are) working on bolstering their affiliate tracking and payment processing.

A color change difinitely could change conversions in a drastic way. When people go from website to payment page, it should be a smooth transition. If there's an overly obvious color change between site and payment page, then people will get nervous and back out of a sale.

Yep, some may remember when CB changed their order page between 1 and 2 years ago and also added the ability to add product images. They tested this beforehand and found it improved conversions. Back then I wasn't even a vendor.

In this case they appear to be doing something similar. I think I had an overreaction. By the sounds of things, they are only using a tiny sample size so this should barely affect existing conversions at all.

However, they should have told vendors via email. The more transparent they are, the better. I do find it annoying that they test things without telling vendors. Just tell us and we'll understand. Don't tell us and we'll panic! :D

Rolf - you shouldn't panic, and Clickbank don't have to be that transparent. Anything they do, they do to make more money for themselves. That means making more sales, which coincidentally means affiliates and vendors make more money too.

Clickbank are working for us really: they make sure WE make plenty of money so THEY make plenty of money :)

Yeah man, that's exactly why they decide to do a bloody site layout revamp as oppose to improving their tracking system which we all know has got problems...

I don't see why everybody is getting all pissed over this, if they split test and find that it makes us more money, good for them. If it sucks, they would only be hurting themselves by leaving it. Pareto optimal improvement.
