I have been looking at quidco and shopathome etc. How do they track the actual purchase (technically) with the affiliate program ? If I want to set up a clone site like quidco, IS there a place or site of affiliate programs, or does a site like quidco manually sign up on each site ie apple.com, tesco etc. In relation to the point above, I clicked through to apple store, via quidco as a test, yet I dont see an affiliate program on the apple site anywhere except itunes. Howver quidco is offering 3% on purchases of anything, ie gadgets, laptops etc. Where did they sign up for this ? Lastly they mention technical difficulties in tracking private affiliate programs. So this again leads to my above question, of where to find the so called directory of affiliate programs, by category to sign up, without manually visiting each site ?
