It's well known that correctly selected domain name have a huge meaning for future promotion of website. If domain name is a keyword or it contains keyword it would be much easier and successfully to promote a website by this keyword. I'm interested how it applies to sub-domains? Do sub-domains have the same advantages as domains?
I'm talking not about subdomains as they are, but about their importance in promotion by keywords included in these subdomains. You're not right if you think so. I have enough experience in this field to be sure in this.
Subdomains has the same importance and value as the main domain. As said above, urls don't carry weight on it by itself, but it will improve very much if the keyword is in the url, description, title, body of the page. (Weight is the repetition spread in the entire document from url to the footer of your page.) ~Mike
I wouldn't base your whole internet business and SEO just around a keyword in a domain. Ebay.com doesn't say auctions in there domain, but rank for that keyword. The examples go on.
Keyword in domain carry some worth in SEO point of view. when you use keyword in sub-domain then it will give some worth in web promotion. Thanks
Actually I am right, you may be fooling yourself if you think otherwise You can get any randomURL.com to rank for the same thing you could if you have RedWidgets.com if you build enough links and have good content.
