Hello, I'm looking for a bit of insight. If my site ranks well for a certain keyword which appears in the title, url, and on-page text and I was to remove the on-page content, how much does my rank stand to be affected? I know this is a subjective question. Is it possible to compensate for removing the on-page content and preserving rank by building out additional quality links? Thank you!
Quality content is very important in SEO. It should be informative and attractive.and then do optimization.
All three of those — your title, url, and on-page text — are contributing to the rankings of that page for the keywords you have targeted. If you reduce or remove on-page content, presumably you will be removing in-text occurrences of one or more of your targeted keywords. And yes, that will have a negative effect on rankings for those keywords. How much or how little? ... hard to say.
Thank you for the replies, all. I am noticing a 10% drop in SE traffic to the site. Will try to find a way to get the content back in there and hopefully when Google re-crawls we get some of the original rank back. Thanks again.
If you remove your title, your content must be good which helps to get good position in google... Your website content will be taken as a keyword...
