Hi, I've read on many occasions that having your primary keyword in your URL can be of great benefit for SEO. I've also read that having your primary keyword in your URL does no longer have any SEO benefits at all. Can anyone tell me which is true, please?
Can anyone help, please? Is it true that having your primary keyword in your URL isn't important any more? A response will be appreciated.
Definitely having the keywords in the url will have a good chance of higher SERP. It has a good advantage in MSN, but not sure about GOOGLE.
If you look at any search in Google, you will see that Google actually highlights the keywords in those urls that you are searching. From this, I would say keywords in urls do form a significant part in the SERP algorithm.
It is very important SE like Google like it most.. when you search for a keyword the keyword in URL is prioritize in SERP.... It is one factor in Google Rankings..
its one of the top factors do a search for google for something. the top ranking links often have those keywords in their URL, and google makes them bold, showing their importance....
