Importance of Directory Submissions?

i agree but higher PR pages(not domains) of the same keyword have better search positions.

Do a simple statistic test, you will find there is high correlation (though not perfect 1.0) between pr and serp. Hence we can't take out pr from seo.

Not that good for traffic, not excellet for SERP either.

i dnt thnk so dirs are used for searching stuff but, they will help u by proving backlinks hence help u in pr and hece pr help u index in google.

 

You get very little traffic from directories, but dir. submissions can surely help you in improving your SERPs.

I have had good results with niche related directories, people see me there. My niche: web design, directories that helped are specifically for web design.

 

If we dont get traffic with directories we get back links and this is important too.

How long is a piece of string? Is there a positive affect? Of course. Anything you do aside from NOTHING should have more of an affect than well, nothing.

How much is an impossible question to answer. I would say, more than doing nothing at all.

 

daily dir submission will help to good in rank.

 

yes it helps but free directories with no reciprocal usually aprove in 2-6 months...this is not to good.
