I wonder if anchor text has the same effect at MSN as Google. I have never tested that but gurus say anchor text can even override the contents at Google as in Google bombs. Is it the same for MSN?
I think that MSN puts greater value on the number of links that contain the same keyword....you can spam the links more than what Google will allow. Falls into the same line that MSN puts greater value on on-page SEO than Google...words to MSN are important.
I totally agree, I have been able to get top placement on a few keywords I wanted by just having a lot of links with the same archor text on them.
If you don't mind sharing...did you do this via article writing, having it in your sig? What other methods?
