Import .txt files to posts on wordpress

I Have a lot of Txt Files I Used To Write Earlier. Can I Import Them Into Wordpress As Posts?

I'm going to make an educated guess here and say probably not. Wordpress' import function converts XML files that are formatted with categories and tags that are universal to most blogging platforms. It can also import from RSS, and HTML.

If these files were never on a blogging platform, then they are not going to format correctly as an XML file that can be imported.
Your best bet would be copying and pasting.

There is more info here on importing files. It may be possible to convert them into XHTML and import them that way, but that sounds like a lot more work that just pasting them as posts.

The way u r trying to do will not work for wp posts unless u r good programmer. But the link given by hmansfield can help u

You might also want to try Windows Live Writer to post to WP (self-hosted or not).
I kinda like it. primitive, but useful.
