import a picture file from the scanner

    First time using Photoshop CS5, . When trying to import a picture file from the scanner, the device is not legible at all. Whereas in Photoshop CS4 no problems.
    what's the solution? please help me

    check permission when scanning - it is necessary not less 300dpi

    you can import your file in scanner easily with the help of photoshop. Go to the file, in a import option then click on ur scanner name, then fit in to the size & resolution, and click on the scanning button.
