Here's the problem: The destination website only works on Internet Explorer.

Hence, I need to create a gateway where by, if the user is browsing from Firefox or Chrome or Opera (or any other browser EXCEPT Internet Explorer), they will be notified that they are not using Internet Explorer and then the webpage will prompt internet explorer to open automatically and go to my final destination website.

I have a good friend, who happens to be a great programmer, but is very busy, he told me I need to "use Java Applets" and then get "getRuntime() function to launch IE"

It seems simple but I have no idea to do it. Someone willing to help Thanks.:D

You better work to make the site compatible with firefox and Internet Explorer.
    That is more professional...

I don't own that site. And the site's already compatible with IE, as mentioned in the post.
