    I have started SMM recently for my site. And it gives me result withing 1 week. I am so impressed with SMM and SMO that i like to do it. I prefer to spend more time on SMO and SMM for any site.

    In SMO i am doing

    social bookmarking.
    submitting site in social sites.
    Posting comments in some high quality blogs.
    Become active member of good forums.
    I am also posting stories and post in Digg, Sphinn and in Stumbleupon.

    Social media marketing requires content that can attract, engage and then entice users to visit your website/blog or link to you. It would also entail having a huge fan following or a large friend circle who can help you give your post a good push. Once visible the content would get the desired attention if it suffice all the above mentioned characteristics.

    Good Catchy Content + Old well connected profile + well times and thought out promotion strategy = Lots of links

    My best was 18,000 links in 24 hours. Assuming you would pay c.$20 per link, that's $360,000 worth of work.

    Well i did write a big essay long post on how to benefit from social media marketing but digital point being very annoying had a very unconvenient database error.

    So i l just say spend time creating a profile communicatiing with others with your interests and review others peoples pages as well as your own and review other people.

    You can read my article on targeted Vs untargeted traffic i will also be writing an article on maximising traffic through social media marketing sometime this week.
