This website is new and has gotten over 85,000 visitors and 235,000 page views in just 4 days with less than 20 minutes of work per day.

I have not put any advertising on this site yet. A standard estimate of earnings would be around $1 per 1,000 page views using a CPM advertising campaign or $0.50 per 1,000 page views with a PPC advertising campaign.

Promotion of this site is easy since the images are viral. As soon as they go public people start sending them to friends and sharing them. I only spent about 20 minutes promoting the site for the first two days, since then it's just been a trickle effect. You can spend as much, or as little, time as you want on the site but obviously, the more time you spend, the more visitors you will get, and therefore, the more you will earn.

I have managed similar sites to this and have earned ~$1.00 per 1,000 visitors so I would like to get 2-3 months worth of earnings. I'm only selling the site because I will be traveling for work over the next couple months and internet access on a daily basis may not be possible for me so hopefully I can find someone can spend at least 20 minutes a day to maintain it.

I will show the new owner how to properly monetize the site and maintain the traffic.

 

Also, I'm not sure if some of you noticed this but the site gets a lot of traffic and submissions without promotion just because of the domain name. Imgur.com is the 272th most visited site in the world according to Alexa.. http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/imgur.com -- the site being sold is Imgur.co (a ".co" extension, not ".com").

This obviously takes advantage of typos and guarantees traffic even without promotion.

 

What's the reserve price is there one for this website, very strong in Alexa.

medialab/masterdirectory: My account was banned for having two accounts. They banned my first one for no reason so I made another. I've tried to contact the admins to find out why but received no response. It's obvious DP is run by mods on power trips.

Anyway, to clear your concerns, the traffic is real and I can provide Analytics access to prove it. As I mentioned before, the site is not monetized... hence, no revenue.

Would you be willing to put statcounter code on your website and provide some stats from statcounter? You can tell easily on statcounter if the traffic is fake or real.

I will allow access to Google Analytics. I see no reason to allow you to put code on the site.

Obviously the site is not a clone of Imgur.com and I have talked to the owner of the .com site. Imgur.co was redesigned since the reddit post you made above. There is no difference or legal issues that would be any different than you putting up your own image hosting site.
