I registered this domain mid 2006 and have been using it since as (surprise) an image hosting site. The site runs on a modified version of a free script, has a unique design with lots of direct type-in traffic.

Overall it averages to 1,000 uniques a month which converts to about $10.00/month through adsense.

In google it ranks #1 for the term 'imghosting' though I think the best quality of this site is its domain: imghosting.us


any ideas for appraisal?

the name is cool, just hire someone to make some SEO and enjoy seeing free search engine traffic

don't sell that domain because it can bring u good money

u can also spend some money on developing the site for a better professional script so u have a good equation for the site with the domain name

The Name is great i think you must make a original design and script and then post some pics in lot of forums that hosted on your web.

I totally agree. This can make u much money if you sell it, but even more if you keep it. Get a good place on search engines, put some ads on it, and watch the money roll in. And if it doesnt work, well...sell it for much money

Upload a few pictures and start posting in forums like mad..

Watermarking images help a lot.

100000 page views on the first day should be your target this will give it a push start and you can then advertise on forums using adbrite by buying direct ads or adsense
If you got some time to spare then an hours work for a month will take you to a stage where you would need more then 5000gb+ in a month (provided your script watermarks the images)

i'll give you a free hint which is making attracting wallpapers with site name on them and spread them on forums with help of some friends
