How can you embed a link directly into a Youtube video? Here is an example. About 7 seconds into the video, there menu with links. How does one do that? Thanks
A lot of video converters enable you to add your own logo and link to your video. You can use these kind of video converter to add your own logo during the conversion, and then upload the watermarked video to YouTube.
Shirley, can you suggest one? I was talking to a production guy in my company and we toyed around with the idea of creating a flash file with link and uploading it, but we are not sure if Youtube will accept flash files. Basically what you're saying is that we create a video and add links and logos and user a video converter to make it into a wmv or mp4?
Sorry, maybe I have made a mistake. I have tried a lot of video converters and found that they can only add logo to vidoe but not link. If you have Adobe Flash, you can add link to SWF file and export it as a FLV file. YouTube accepts FLV video files. Shirley, Youtube accepts FLV files but it flattens the content, so the links don't work. Thanks for trying though. I have no idea how the video link I put above does that.
It's through YouTube's partner program. You have to produce your own original content and have your video be popular enough so that YouTube will ask you to be in their partner program There is a good article on achieving partner status here.
outgoing links to pages of the same youtube.com are allowed but not any external sites better to just have the watermarked link and one in the description
QW, the link you sent is regarding ads on YouTube. take a look at the video link i put up. They have a menu bar on the video itself.
