Hi I set up a javascript image preloading script on the first page of a website I set up for a friend (see here: www.danapanduru.co.uk). The scripts then redirects to other page. My problem is: will this javascript redirection impede normal crawling by search engine bots and therefore site's indexing on SE? I suppose it will happen so. I wonder if placing direct links on the image preloading page will manage to overcome the javascript redirection and SEO problem. Human users will have little use for these links as they might want to wait for the images to load, but to SE bots, the links will serve for website's normal indexing. Thanks for your comments!
