Hello It seems dog tags images for this site: http://www.yourdogtags.com/ are not indexed at all by google. Anybody knows why? I am doing something wrong? Thank you all.
they are indexed. just go to Google image search and write: site:<your sitedomain name> "Military Dog Tag" or just go to http://images.google.com/images?um=...+Dog+Tag"&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&start=0
There are some of them indexed, but very few, that is the problem. Most of them are taken from the blog part of the site, but the item images are not actually indexed. Here is the page with almost of the items: http://www.yourdogtags.com/id-tags.html Most of these are not indexed, even if the corresponding page for each page is indexed.
What about inserting alt tags in all your images, I guess that might help you get your images on the course. Most of my images do come on the image search and I insert alt tags as welll as some watermarks in my images.
Well, you have to optimize your images so that the Google can crawl it and then index it, so in order to optimize your images, you can use your required keyword in the title tag, alt tag and also in the name of the image, by doing this the crawler will easily crawl your images too...
I don't think submit sitemap could get this problem solved since the problem is about image and not about webpages. I think you should go with deep link building for your inner pages that has those images contained. This could help your images for being indexed faster.
