I was ready over the new terms. Adsense no longer allows misleading images by the ads. Just giving a heads up.

what is a misleading image? i have pictures all over my website, but i do not try and trick visitors by making them look connected... it is just common sense i guess

Thanks for the "heads up" but holy moly, it feels like I stepped into the way-back machine since this came out in December.

I guess that image I have on my website of a gangster pointing a gun at you stating "Click The Link Beside Me or Die!!" is no good anymore. Bummer...

Not only images... but any graphics, favicons, or even text in the form of large capitol letters --- WHETHER misleading, deceitful, or NOT !

Seems "G" doesn't allow anything that adds any excitement to their ads or draws extra attention to them. GOD forbid it could attract more customers to their advertisers and they would have to pay out another penny because someone clicked on one of them.

they just want to maintain the large advertiser base that they currently have.. and images were causing unnecessary costs to the advertisers.. so google probably did this to save advertisers' costs..

in the end... it's google and the advertisers who benefit.. and publishers lose yet again!
