Images next to image ads

    Hi.

I seem to recall there being a lot of talk regarding placing images next to ads, and I just want to be clear on the rules.

I'm currently re-designing parts of my site, a site which primarily exists of images/photos which users enter the site to look at. After I made my changes to the layout I now have image ads next to the images at my site, and I just remembered there being some problems with it.

I have only made these changes to make the site look better, and my images are not placed in any specific way in order to make people click my ads, the ads and my images are only next to each other as my site simply looks better this way.
My images and the ads are not the same size and it's easy to see that it is two different images. I've also placed an "Sponsored Link:" above the ad.

I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, but it'd be nice if someone could confirm this.
So is it okay to have ads next to the images on a site when it's lined up as I describe it? Or is it not allowed to have any images next to ads (image ads only) no matter what.

No you cant use them with google ads you have to separate them with some content or add them to sidebar with divide boxes .But don't add them with images by doing this your account get banned because it is against TOS .

The placement is questionable, which means that you should be conservative and avoid it. Depending on how the whole page looks, you may be able to fix it just by putting a margin to the left of the AdSense.

Just a note - it's okay to put an AdSense image ad next to an AdSense text ad. (I'm not sure if the width of your pages fits for this, though)

Well as long as it doesn't confuse the visitor or tempt them to click, it should be ok. As in your case, I don't see anything wrong with it. That's my opinion.

Set up a test page and email adsense and ask them. No matter what anyone here tells you, you want something in writing from adsense to protect your account if it becomes an issue in the future.

FYI, using images you don't own without permission in an adsense violation (copyright infringement).
