Images next to Ads question

    Hi

    I have a question regarding images next to ADs.

    The guidelines say:

    I have made a border around my Ads and the images are a) generic but fitting to my theme and b) in a distance of around 40-50px from the ad.

    Example here

    I have contacted google twice now via email to confirm that the placement is within their TOS but did not get a response back yet.
    Will try it a third (and fourth, and...) after 4 weeks.

    So what do you think?
    Go or no go?

    Any other opinions because the Adsense Support (which one?) seems to ignore me for now :/

    I can't see violation on your site as I can also see that kind of ads placement on other forums with ads.

    After 3 weeks waiting time and 3 emails send to the google adsense team I finally got an answer.

    Even though they did not say that my implementation of images next to the ads is in violation of their TOS they suggested (;)) to rethink my placement.
    And that is what I did.
    I removed the images and made my ADs look like a forum post.
    This way the CTR was nearly the same as with the images next to the ads but I don't risk to be in violation of the Adsense TOS
