Could you please let me know if this is legal? There's no implication that these images belong to the ads since they're buttons to their own seperate page.. I'll contact adsense about this too Thanks for your input!
Looks fine to me, As long as the pics are not aligned directly with the ads, 'ad sized' etc, it seems to be okay.
I think you will be fine but I am curious to see how you would get relevant ads - no text! Or will Media bot take domain name and meta tags in consideration for ads or img alt tag ?
I have little text and a long title tag, the ads are relevant ! I'm pretty happy about it. No alt tags attached at the moment
Thanks Also an update: I've noticed that I'm getting really high paying ads for this particular site! I can't wait to promote it even more
Yeah, the CTR was 14% when I recieved some traffic to the site! I'm not promoting it yet because I still need to add much more content (reviews, interviews, articles, it all takes time!)
Not sure about meta tags, but I know the bot takes URLs into account - it may even weight them very heavily. I used to have a section of my site labeled "Mailbag" in the URL for reader comments, and almost all ads there were always about bags, no matter what the actual content was. After a while, I gave up and spread the comments out into different categories to maximise relevance. (It didn't help much either that I'm in a niche - Malaysian politics - that doesn't have many relevant ads.)
you can use meta tags to define the description. I do it on my wallpaper site. I was able to display mortgage ads . but removed them.
