Images Besides Adsense

    Hello guys,

    I just want to know whether it is illegal to use images besides adsense ads.

    I did for some of my sites since it increases CTR ?

    Just as it's been said over and over, yes. As long as you have a visible border separating the two and if the image does not relate to the ad. That is my take anyhow.

    There should be sufficient space between the image and the ad to ensure that the visitor does not think the image is part of the ad. As maryn has already stated, Google advises publishers to place a visible border seperating the 2.

    Also make sure the image doesn't draw undue attention to the ads.

    And yep, it helps increase the CTR a lot. :)

    Im worried about puting an image also with a space and a border....I have read here that some also have got banned....
