Images and SEO question

    Hi all,

We're finishing a site that reviews the online dating sites (http://www.date-reviews.com) and are doing our best to optimize for the search engines based on what we know thus far. My question is in regard to images on our review pages, and how that impacts search engine rankings. We're publishing the pages in two ways, with and without images. You can see examples here:

    http://date-reviews.com/categories/ebony.php (with image)
    http://date-reviews.com/categories/datingservices.php (without image)

Which ranks better with the search engines? It looks far better with the pictures. Does it matter if the image is on the left or right side of the content?

Thanks so much, in advance, for your responses.

    Danny

It dose not matter which side the picture appears on. What matters is what table loads first and the content that is in them.

Your site must have pictures, for it is to the eyes that your site must appeal.

Alt text the pic and away you go;)
