lol, there's no porn picture. It's the teeny bopper dude with no shirt on. lol. Actually, I probably spend more effort keeping porn out of my sites then just about anything else. Last I checked a shirtless male does not qualify as porn, unless you're Muslim.
BTW... no offense. Thanks for looking... I laughed cause I just didn't realize what it would look like blurred.
That is a shame indeed. I assume you have tried contacting them again to see if there's anything you can do?
I did send an appeal. I appreciate your compassion. I was blessed to make as much as I did. I spent all of my time programming the home grown CMS system I used and probably should have spent more time cleaning out the crap that was getting in. I'm starting to realize they wouldn't have cared about the images if they thought the sites were better managed. It's crazy... those people will put their phone numbers, addresses, ... I had to tweak my system to block out numbers as well as the foul language. I tried to do as much as I could programmatically but I guess some stuff just has to be done manually. Anyway... thanks.
The nude pictures almost certainly played a role in your account termination. I received a warning on a medical site for a nude picture of the backside of a woman which only showed about 2 inches below the waist - nothing that a newspaper wouldn't show.
mjewel, thanks for responding. I really don't think that's it. That's one of a million pages in my network, and it only looks nude because I blurred it. It's a guy singing or something. I actually don't know exactly what he's doing.
Sounds you are keeping your spirits up and have a good attitude, though. Even if not reinstated I think you'll bounce back. If you are indeed getting that much traffic, try joining CJ or Friend Finder.
Thanks. I am optimistic, oh and we did get paid today! I know they seldom reconsider but I did discover that a pretty significant bug had been introduced into our system, by of course me. :-\ Anyway... I know we have all sorts of people here and I haven't always been on my best behavior but: <>< Praise the Lord! No, I don't mean Google. LOL. Actually, several months ago we committed to serve overseas in missions indefinitely. Ironically (or not) Google banned me the day after we sent out our first support letters. So I spent this morning between 4 & 6 AM thinking and praying and realized something. The devil is alive and well. We had hoped to show up able to do all kinds of great things with all the great money Google was paying us. I guess I figure if the devil is alive and well then God certainly is too. So I'll thank Him because He is the one I want to make happy. In fact maybe being banned is exactly what I needed. I had really started thinking of everything in terms of how much money I was making. I even had written a little 3D widget that displayed my Google stats with little things like $ per hour and $k per year and... well... I was pretty full of myself.
It may be possible that you got banned for having adsense on a chat page, too, because it is against tos to do so.
I send them email when i was placing images next to google ads, and they replied that there is nothing wrong with it. So most probably there maybe some nude pictures in your network which makes trouble for you. Few month ago my friend asked them about image and adsense and they replied you need to have border in between but a month ago when i send them email and show them my site, they said there is no need of border and its fine. I kept that email Anyway best of Luck, try use some other network.
Ugh, good to know. I've used (clothed) pics of porn stars in previous posts. Guess I'll watch my Ps and Qs so I don't lose my $8 a day.
It would be nice to know what kind of image placement Google finds acceptable, near Ads. I think I know what they are objecting to. I have seen 720 pixel wide banners with 4 little topical pictures perfectly lined up with the ads, so that it looks like the ads and the pictures are associated. I can see how the AdWords customers would be unhappy with this. If their ad for telescopes is placed near a picture of a butterfly, and people click on the ad expecting butterflies instead of telescopes, then the AdWords customer is justified in being unhappy about the situation. I would bet the actual picture, their placement, the ads, and the page content amount to a judgement call by Google.
I certainly understand it, it's just vague. As I mentioned in the initial post I put a line between the images and the ads. I had run AdSense without the line between the images and the ads for over a year. I'm not trying to belly ache here, I'm just trying to give folks that haven't been banned a "heads up" cause Google seems to show very little interest in being open and honest. With the other services I use I have account managers who actually email me recommendations regularly.
