I am interested in marketing ImageDough.com. Can anyone help me do that? I am willing to pay.

I would love any marketing strategies as well. We were thinking of posting it on Anime sites on the web using it. We'd love to get customer feedback as well.

We have about 240 visits a day at the moment through a promotional link.

We'd love to know where to advertise it too, we've tried adengage.com

    Best,
    Khalid

If you want to have A LOT of daily visitors, you have to advertise. That's the bottom line.

Get your ads critiqued first, along with your site. If one or both are crap, advertising will do you no good.

Then place your ads in sites that its visitors may like.

The more sites you advertise in, the more people who come. The more people who come, the more money you make.

    It's just that simple.

If you want an advertising network to do it for you (buying traffic; advertising), check out one of the following:

TextLinkAds, TrafficSwarm, CasaleMedia, Advertising, FastClick, BurstMedia, TribalFusion, Azoogle, GlobalInteractive, AdBrite, RealMedia, Kontera, Avnads, ValueClick, RealTechNetwork, Reduxmedia, and, Dotomi.

Remember, though, if your site and or ads are not very good, you will be wasting your money.

Ok, that is a great list of advertising companies. Any idea whom is the best CPC. A year or two ago, I used to use google and got them down to 1 cent CPC which was great. Getting $2400 clicks per day for like $24/day.

I've been an advertiser for AdBrite, TextLinksAds, Google

Been a publisher for CasaleMedia, Advertising.com, FastClick, BurstMedia, TribalFusion, Azoogle, AdBrite, Avnads, ValueClick

I've also recently tried AdMob for my iPhone apps. But getting good conversion is key when doing a campaign. Any tips ?

I can't tell you which one is the best for CPC because I do my own advertising. I put those up because my fellow advertisers use them, and they seem to like them.

You will just have to try them out, see what works for you.

Tips? Well, I make my own ads. I put my own personality into them.

I have found that using totally different ads (funny, weird, cute, crazy) seems to work the best.

I stay away from using Google type text ads because those are so typical, so overused that many just look right over them.

Do you know what I mean?

I also do not use those typical banner ads. It has the same ol' look to them.

I think that one of the most important things you should do right now, if you aren't doing already, is to create a page in your site to be used as a notebook to store ideas for ads in.

    Here is mine:

    http://thelist.fm/ad-page.htm

I have 3 sites, one for men looking for dating advice, another for women looking for dating advice, and the last one for webmasters looking for marketing / advertising advice.

I put all of my ideas, pictures, other people's ads and other stuff there. I use it sort of like a student uses his notebook to put notes and ideas in.

Scroll down until you see a picture of a little boy in glasses reading a book. I took that from a library site. heh I'm thinking about using that as a cute ad for advertising my site for men on women.

    Think outside the box!

Many inexperienced advertisers try to use "curiosity" in their ads to get people to click on them.

I wouldn't do this as most will use up your ad money clicking on the ads. You want people who might be interested in buying, not to just perk their curiosity.

If you are paying per month, or impressions, this also helps cut down on your frustrations!

Say, for example, you get 100,000 visitors from last month, but you didn't make as many sales as you should have. Well, most could have been coming in just to see what the site was about.

    See what I mean?

I make sure that they know I am selling e-books. In addition, I offer free tips from all my sites, but I do not advertise that fact as this will also bring in the moochers.

    I want potential buyers!

I do not use Google as there is too much competition out there, combined with their rates being just too damn high.

I'm thinking about using other search engines. There are over 30 to choose from, so....

Hey, a little there, a little there, that $ adds up at the end of the month.

Use compete.com to see how many hits a site, RUOUGHLY gets.

You do not want to advertise on a very slow site.

Do not use the HTTP. Just type in their name.

I have more ideas and tips, but this should get you going for now.
