I just got it =D. It expired July 5th i noticed... I think im gonna develop it into an image host . Anyone know a site that allows image hosting? Anyways, appraise please. The following tld's are taken - .com, .net, .org, .de just kinda excited to develop it, just cant find a host that allows image hosting sites =S. i know HG doesnt. 76,400 for "image bird". edit - update! i just did some research, and the previous owner had this on the site.. (google cache i used) it looks like they were looking to sell the domain for over $300!!
Thing about that is that they obviously failed. Definitely a good domain, don't get me wrong, but undeveloped I don't think it's worth quite THAT much.
low $xxx undeveloped... nice catch!!! for the hosting... why don't you set up your own server? ...otherwise, I think GoDaddy.com allows you to do that... ^_^ not sure though... however, I don't see why they wouldn't.. If you had that name 3 years ago I would have bought it for mid to high $xxx when I was looking for a good name for an image hosting site... never ended up going that direction b/c I couldn't come up with a good enough name that I could run with... yet, that one would have done nicely!!! Although, there is imageshack... so I might have passed on it. Not sure though... 0_o Its a good name though.. if you make a nice site with some specialty that none of the other image hosting sites have and market it... then I don't see why it wouldn't catch on viral..
