Image vs Text ads!

I just notice we can only post 3 ads of each kind! But text and image ads are the same!
How many Image and text ads you have?
You get the most clicks from image or text ones?

Image can pay CPM, but obviously you have more clickable options on a text ad unit.

 

I prefer text ad units than image ads I feel text ads are more likely to be clicked than image ads. You can place 3 adunits in one page. You can place more ad units, but those will not work.

 

It will vary for every website. Try out both and see which gets the most clicks. That's how most people test and optimize.

You never want more than three ads per page (at least all of the same kind).

 

I offer image ads maybe it depends my sites but images gives more money than text ads.

 

In my experience text ads do much better than image ads.

 

Well you definitely get a lot more clicks with the large text boxes simply because there are 5 different links for people to click on. They will probably relate to more then one rather then the one image ad. Although if you care more about the looks, image ads look nicer on websites

I normally use 2. Images or text is depend, image is good for those entertainment or game niche.
Text is better for those credit card, health niche

 

Based on my experience, I got more clicks from text ads so for me, I find them more effective than image ads...

 

Most of my earnings come from text ads and therefore I've no longer using image ads. However, the results may vary from one niche to another.
