Gov. Jan Brewer in Arizona has a website at keepazsafe.com to collect donations for the legal defense fund for SB 1070. Ironically, legal action could possibly be taken now for the photograph chosen to use on this site. It's actually an image of a spot closer to Colorado than Mexico, and within the sovereign Navajo Nation. A spokesman for the Navajo president's office stated that no permission was sought to use the picture. They also said they would not grant permission, as the Navajo council voted to condemn SB 1070. No action has been taken at this time, but the Navajo Nation office is looking into the use of this photo.
