Image upload file type problem.

    I have a user that is having problems uploading jpg images. I asked them to send me one of these images. The images had been shot with a Canon PowerShot G7, and I assumed saved as a JPG on the camera, then uploaded to the users PC.

    What I don't get, is when I tested the image file type it comes back as blank. I cant sort out why the images don't have a file type when uploaded.

    I took the same image that failed and re-saved it with Photoshop as jpg, and was able to upload it.

    Any ideas?

    There is no need to post code, and I cant under company terms. We are not talking about a coding bug, but something within the image that is not complying to standards.
