Image theft and PR rank

    Hey all,

My site: http://www.the-biomatrix.net has got an awful lot of image theft going on. As in they don't have the common decency to download my images, but instead just link directly to them. Hundreds of pages are doing it grr!
Anyway I have infinite bandwidth with BlueHost so it's not really a problem. Still it pisses me off a lot and I'm planning on stopping them with htaccess (any tips there btw?).
What I wanted to know before I went ahead and did that is whether I'm being hasty. Do I not get some PR for them linking to me like that? Will it make Google like me more? A page on the Hugh Jackman Workout which I'm ranking for links to my image, surely that's got to be worth something?

Anyway please let me know before I do anything hasty (not that long ago I changed one of the images to a giant penis and they hadn't set the file size - it took up their entire page :-P).

    Thanks all!

If they're hotlinking, whcih it sounds like they are, then no, you're getting no benefit, they're just pulling the image from your server.
