    For websites heavy one unique images (wallpapers, photos, screenshots or other image files) it makes good sense to create an image sitemap

    Images are not crawled by google until you use Alt attributes, but after it if you upload sitemap with images then its really valuable.

    Images are used to creating sitemap in that we used to image for searching and also adversing the site.Google using this this elements and attributes for making sitemap.

    Through Google Images Sitemaps, Google receives meta data regarding the images contained on a website. Visitors can do an image search on Google. Using Google image extensions in Sitemaps provides the search engine with additional information regarding the images on the website.

    Google image sitemap helps the Google visitors to search image on Google. It basically gives metadata regarding the images contained on a website.
