Image Search a waste?

Does Image Search benefit me at all?

I never allowed it for my wallpaper domain. Because I thought it was a waste of bandwidth.

But now a blog, is blogging about wallpapers and used 4-6 of my wallpapers. I was find with it because they left a link to my site with my targeted keywords.

So now they see my site in the image search and just click the image.

My question is want percentage actual go to the main site? Were there any past experiments?

On a couple of my domains image search brings in more traffic than the other search engines and if they like what they see they will also buy.

 

images bring in more traffic through the image search you should also look into enhanced image labeling on google webmaster

 

it is very very useful when i had a blog blogger about celebs it used to send 150 -200 daily visitors

 

It depends on the web user. Some people only use image search while most do not. Build for both.

 

I have seen a website which only receives Image Traffic but still it's income is very good..

 

I don't know why you keep on complaining. The image search actually does has its benefit to drive traffic to your site. Whenever someone click the image that appears in the image search, it will take them to your site, so I don't see any issue here.

 

Guys it's own someone else blog. They just used my wallpaper link.

So they aren't going to my site unless they click the link to my site on the blog. And not the image wallpaper.

Out of the 300 image search I got yesterday 11 visited the site.
