Image resizer software?

Which software do you use to make images smaller?

 

irfanview works really well and it is free

 

photoshop

 

mspaint does it too
but i recommend photoshop, acdsee, irfanview

 

definitely photoshop or acdsee.

I use acdsee, but I wasnt aware that you could edit images (other than convert to different format), am I using an outdated version?

 

Any ideas for a Mac app to do the same?

 

Picasa from google is good for basic image manipulation and retouching.

PhotoShop if you have money, use GIMP if you don't. PICASA from Google is also handy for quick fixes.

I downloaded Gimp, thanks for mentioning that one, I had forgotten about it.

Photoshop usually, but I coded a php script that does that for me. Simply upload select size and the rest is left to the imagination .

Imageshack is cool too.

 

so, I'm sure curious, why did you need a script when PS can batch process stuff?
