image re-sizing

    Hi all what the best way to re-size an image-I.E NOT USING THIS - width="100px" height="100px"

    If i use that code the pic distorts, how to fix this ?

    no just re-size an image without disorting it ! say i want it to be 100x100 - with no distortion
