Hey guys, I am run a site about wrestling and would like to know whether it is legal for me to use images from sites such as wwe and google images etc. I have taken them off now to be sure but would like few answers if I would be safe in doing that. Also, would it be worth me called the wwe to ask for permission to use there images or would that get me in more trouble? Any help would be great, thanks . Daniel
No, you cannot use the images without permission. You can ask for permission, but they will probably want to charge you if you want to use any image. They may have a package of promotional images they let you use for free. If you do ask them, stick by their decision. Otherwise you have alerted them to your site and your possible intent to use their images without permission.
