image or text ads which one is more profitable?

I can not decide when and where to use image or text ads for a better profit.

Can some one guide me.

Test ads for sure . For image ads there are few advertisers and the cost per clicks is also low . I used them for a month time and they are not worth it .

 

Text ads for sure. If you need money then go for text ads.

The best way is to test both of them yourself. It also depends on the layout,colors,position. People do get results from image ads, however text ads seem to work better for me.

I think most people would go for text ads. If you have dating or arcade site, also image ads could be good choice.

Text ads pay better and usually have a higher CTR. I mix them because in my opinion it makes your website look like a MFA or just cheap if you have all text links everywhere.

When I was still using AdSense, text ads always paid better. To be honest, I am not sure why Google added the ability to publish image ads, though I suspect it was more to satisfy AdWords advertisers.
