Image Optimization

    1. I wish to add some images to each of my excising blog posts. So can I buy the required image from some sites? Else I can simply copy the image from internet?
    2. Then, can I simply use it as a static image or I can call it as an external CSS image(to reduce page speed)?
    3. Also while optimizing the image, can I use ALT and title tag for images less than a kilobyte?

There are plenty of sites offer both paid and free images for use. I have used this free site for a while: http://www.sxc.hu/Image sites will let you download images and you can for instance reduce the size and weight in adobe photoshop or use a free image editor like gimp.As far as i know, you can use tags for all images, also less than 1kb.

Instead of buying and copying any image from somewhere it is better to create it yourself. Use ALT and title tag while optimizing these images.

properly optimizing images involves using the "Alt" attribute when adding images to your site. Basically Google Crawlers cannot read images, so you add the "Alt" attribute to tell these crawlers what it is. What you place here also is what is shown in the event the image doesn't load (say someone is using a web browser that is not compatible for some reason).

I will add a little about optimization images. According to my experiments a value in the title attribute of images does not affect on search engine optimization of images, this attribute is only useful from the point of usability.
