    Does it makes sense or pay to use your keywords in the images on your site, does that help google ranking or appear spammy?

    Yes, I think it does make sense to do exactly that.

    Google Images is one of my biggest referrers. Beyond naming image files appropriately, it also helps to give an "id" to images as well as using good, descriptive (but not spammy) alt-tags.

    It is simply an additional coding element you can use. If you have DW or FP it should be rather easy. If you're hand coding, you can add, as an example:

    id="digitalpoint"
    Code (markup):
    in the <img src>

    If you do an image search at Google for "olsens bikini" you'll get four results - all on one of my sites for an example :) (You'll need to have safe search off though)

    I'll tried the search.

    Could you please elaborate on this (id naming for SEO)? I really doubt it has anything effect with SEo'ing images, but wouldn't to hear from if you have any better experience than a 4 image search result, where all of them have the words in the alt tag and being a link.

    it helps even with the alt tags having your keywords in them.
