Image name - better search results

    How do you insert your images on your websites ?

    1: Newest_iPhone.jpg
    2: Newest-iPhone.jpg
    3: NewestiPhone.jpg

    Cause i know if you use the ( alt="Newest iPhone" ) code in your website you will get better ranking on G Image search...

    My question is: how to rename an image which contains more than one word? Does it matter how is renamed an image on your website?

    Well I usually see images like 2: Newest-iPhone.jpg ranking the highest, and 1: Newest_iPhone.jpg ranking second, and 3: NewestiPhone.jpg ranking last. I think the space from - and _ is very important for exact matching.

    Many thanks for the tips guys... good to know that ( src="Newest-iPhone.jpg" alt="Newest iPhone" ) is the best way to get better ranking on google image search...

    Now I need to rename about 629 images :)

    if you use wordpress,you can try to a plug-in called seo-image!

    I'm using wordpress and its default pic name form is xxx-xxx.jpg, same as the 2) in your post.
