    Hello,
I would like to create an image library for about 10,000 images. I am just looking for some direction as to what programming would be best to use. I presume I can put the image, keywords and information into a database. I want the user to be able to search keywords to find images and filter out images etc.

I am sure this is has been done before and there are probably shortcuts and pre-made scripts, but I am looking for a project and I want this to be specific to my needs.

Looking for a suggestion as to where to begin and what coding I need to learn.
    Thanks all in advance.

Easily done with wordpress or Drupal. If Ryan-Uk is floating around he can probably shed some light on Drupal. I am not very well versed with it.

I have also tried stuff like http://galleryproject.org/ it was not so polished when I messed with it though.

Edit: I found a few newer ones but I have not looked at these yet.
