Under the wordpress blog setttings - the title is appearing there.
Check if your blog theme option has a choice to choose between text or image if not remove the tagline from the blog settings and edit the header.php file in your wordpress themes and insert the html for the header image.

    regards
    Josh

could you confirm if the header HTML image is uploaded on the same blog server that we are discussion about and not remotely pulling the image.
    regards, Josh

the best method is add new post, insert the image using the "new post" and then save draft and go to the HTML mode and copy the text and past it at the destination.
    cheers, Josh
