    That's not true. A domain can have a higher value in an other TLD than the respective keyword .com

    True but that depends on the stats of the website built on that non-dot com domain but it's still not a PREMIUM domain because of it. Premium domains are .com and some times .net TLDs.

    A premium domain can be in any TLD.
    The "premium" is referred to the keyword(s) not the TLD.
    Example.com is a premium .com domain
    Example.us is a premium .us domain
    Example.cc is a premium .cc domain
    The value of each domain is based on the specific TLD market.

    The site is new therefore the database is small.
    Currently I'm running it in a shared hosting without any problem.

    I tried to upload image. the site completely went belly up. Not even error page (connection reset). it wasnt a large image either only about 1MB. Is it a particular script that is off-the-shelf ? then atleast I could the benefit of the doubt that you just setup incorrectly or your host has an issue
