Image Hosting Website marketing (onedump.com)

Hey Guys,

I just started my web 2.0 image hosting website. Any ideas on how to market such a service>?

 

Have you set yourself up on all the 2.0 sites eg myspace, etc? Build up traffic profiles and demo your product on those pages and make sure you have 'images hosted by' all over your pictures with a link to click, people will soon check it out, good luck

 

I would add site to freebie sites and forums and social bookmark sites for some free traffic.

 

Thanks for the tips, but are you sure such a picture watermark for all the pix would be a good idea? Most of the image hosts dont actually do this.

I really like the design of your site there. Good luck with it.

Just make sure if you ever want to show off a picture to anyone on a forum, always use your own site to host it. I think submitting interesting and funny pictures to digg.com will bring you some good traffic.
