I need you opinion regarding starting a free image hosting site. I've searched this forum, and the info I found are not really what I'm looking for. Can you really make money with this industry?
Provided the expense of the bandwidth doesn't sap your earnings.. There are plenty of popular sites out there doing it right now so it must be a working model for income.
This model can require extensive infrastructure costs such as bandwidth and hosting space. Make sure you spend time understanding those cost variables. Good Luck.
You can make money, but this is the same with most online businesses. If your asking will it be easy, then the simple answer is no... You have to think that there are some very big compaies out there already offering a great service such as photobucket and tinypic. Therefore most people would rather host pictures on these sites as they are probally going to be around for alot longer than a small unknown site. Good Luck, Tom
i am thinking of starting a image hosting site too.. my advice will be to create something unique from others.. cos image hosting industry looks quite saturated.. visitors will like to have something different.. and that's what i am brainstorming now..
