Selling Image hosting and sharing website, 1,000+ UV's a day

I'm looking to get offers on my site, http://imgup.io - it's an image hosting site. I need to sell it because I have a few upcoming projects. I don't want to sell it, because it's a good project, but I have to unfortunately.

The site gets about 1,000 UV's a day. Last month, it served 200,000 unique visitors because an image was shared on a popular site and it got a lot of traffic.

It has a lot of great backlinks, and it's slowly climbing the rankings for some powerful keywords, like "free image hosting". It gets a lot of traffic from some great keywords, like "cheeby" and "imgup". It also ranks top for "sexy women" in Google image search.

I didn't bother monetising the site much. I put in 1 ad, to test the waters. But, I wanted to build a good user-base first before putting in ads. It makes about $50 a month.

The script the site uses is a paid for image hosting script, the license lasts forever.

I will also offer hosting forever on my servers, so I'd like the price of that included in the bid. My servers can take a lot of strain, when the site had 200,000 visitors in a month, it went through a period of having 2,000 people online at any given time. The server was fine.

Like I said, this post is just to get an idea of what I could sell it for. I'm in no rush, and if I don't like the offers, I'll just pay someone to manage it in the hope that it grows.

Edit: I set the BIN to $6,000 because it made me put in a BIN. It was the first number that popped into my head. I'm open to offers for the site.

 

For revenue about $50 per month, you can not sell it above 10x of that.

 

I've had offers better than that already.

The owner is constantly updating the script and it's easy to update. He makes changes on it all the time, this past month it has had 3 new updates with bug fixes and new features.

The traffic is coming from search engines and people uploading their own pictures and sharing on social networks. A lot of the traffic comes from Facebook and forums. People upload pictures and share them there, for whatever reason.

 

imgup, how are user finding your site?? not the traffic of the referral image. The initial contact of new users??

 

Search terms. A lot of them came from "image hosting" related search terms.

EDIT: NVM, I found the script. It costs $48 for cheapest package. The script is called Chevereto for those interested.

This is not worth $6000 at all. If anything its the domain imgup.io that gives value.

I'll change my offer to $600, because I want the domain.

 

Like I said, $6,000 was just there because it made me put a BIN. I never claimed for the script to be unique in anyway or claim that it adds any additional value to the site.

I am selling the domain name and the amount of traffic it gets, which is steadily rising, along with the earnings. So for that reason, I will not accept $600.
